Azie Zadeh
Azie Zadeh brings over a decade of experience in healthcare operations, team leadership, and practice growth strategy to Abbassi Surgical Associates. As Director of Operations, she oversees every dimension of the patient experience — from scheduling and care coordination to systems design, staff development, and administrative excellence.
Azie holds a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Texas Woman's University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, where she refined her focus on operational efficiency and strategic planning. Her career spans roles in clinical operations, multi-site practice management, and healthcare consulting — equipping her with a deep understanding of how great systems support great care.
At Abbassi Surgical Associates, Azie is the architect behind the practice's concierge-style model — ensuring that every patient interaction, from the first phone call to the final follow-up, reflects the elevated standard the practice was built on. She leads with empathy, precision, and a relentless commitment to making the complex feel simple for patients and staff alike.
Ava Azizi
Ava Azizi is a dedicated medical assistant with a strong background in anatomy, biomedical sciences, and patient care. She earned dual Master of Science degrees in Anatomical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences from Lincoln Memorial University and completed her undergraduate studies at Austin College with a degree in Public Health and a minor in Neuroscience.
Before joining Abbassi Surgical Associates, Ava served as an anatomy instructor and teaching assistant at the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she worked closely with medical and physician assistant students. She also has extensive experience in surgical shadowing, research, and patient-centered clinical care.
Ava is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their surgical experience. Her compassionate approach, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for medicine make her an important part of the ASA team.
